I think it’s about time to update this page. I started this blog in 2008 so whatever I wrote here before was just written out of extreme boredom (and for the record, the picture below is not mine). I have experienced a lot since then so I’m afraid some of my entries here are no longer relevant. However, I won’t delete my previous post because I still want to remember how it felt like in 2008. Today is April Fool’s Day, 2012.

Name:  Still confidential, but here’s a clue: my first name is weird-sounding and starts with the last letter of the alphabet; my last name is the same as one of the political clans in one city in Metro Manila (we’re not relatives).

Country of Origin: Philippines, need I say it?

Religion: Roman Catholic, I have renewed my faith in 2010.

Occupation: Part-time government executive, part-time freelance writer, part-time philosopher, part-time wife, full-time mom.

School, Course and Year Graduated (name at least one of each): University of the Philippines, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, 1999.

Civil Status: You’re dumb if you still didn’t get it – married.

Age: 33, as of this writing.

Sex: After having four kids, I’m now sure I’m a female.

For me…

The best things in life are usually expensive.

The worst things are having an administration that can’t run the government and being stuck in it due to fear of change and the unknown.

My best days are when I earn extra and splurge on clothes and shoes, when my children get recognized, when I have all the time to do what I want to do (including blogging), and when somebody learned and got inspired because of me.

My worst days are when the internet at home is down, when I don’t have money, when I can’t get anything done, and when my husband is suspecting me of adultery.

I hate people who are hypocrite, think they’re good even if they’re not, and love to make other people’s lives miserable.

I love people who are grounded, jolly (to offset my pessimism), true to themselves, willing to reach out to others, and good-looking. 

When I’m sad, I hug my children.

When I’m happy, I look forward to the next day. 

I am a little pessimist, a procrastinator, an easy-go-lucky person but a no-non-sense type, and a dreamer of big things to still happen, if only I could put everything into action.

How do I describe myself? Simple woman with simple dreams and desires (pang-slumbook itoh!). Kelangan ba talaga to? Kung gusto ko makilala dito e di sana ipinublish ko na totoo kong pangalan. Di yata pwede baka malaman ng boss ko hehehe. Saka ng asawa ko. At iba pang ayoko sanang makabasa ng blog ko kasi baka me maisulat ako na inimical to them in the future.

So how do I describe myself now? 

Sex? Babae. Although once akong nagduda about my gender way back elementary, ngayon sigurado na ako.

Age? Mejo malapit nang di makasali sa kalendaryo. At this point dapat paatras na ang bilang ng age kaya pati utak ko paatras na rin.

Civil Status? Sakal na. Sakal na sakal na.

With kids? Oo, marami. Me boy na, girl pa, at mukhang me gay and lesbo din.

Religion? Non-practicing Roman Catholic. Pero Katoliko pa rin ha, di pa naman ako naapektuhan sobra ng atheist environment sa pinanggalingan kong unibersidad.

Occupation? Nasabi ko na to sa una kong post.
